Tony Rust, Senior Benefits Consultant, is an industry veteran with over a decade of benefits consulting and brokerage experience.

‍

Prior to joining Renewal, Rust spent over 10 years with a large, national benefits brokerage firm, working in various roles, including account management, business development, and strategic benefits consulting. Rust leads with a people-first mindset, looking for every opportunity to serve his clients and their employees through a personable approach. With a workforce environment struggling with inflation and recruiting & retention challenges, Rust strives to partner with his clients to challenge the status quo, leveraging new and innovative solutions that drive savings to group health plans that positively impact an employer’s bottom line so they can reinvest in their most valuable asset—their people.

In his spare time, Rust enjoys spending time outdoors with his 4-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback, Riley. He also enjoys fishing, golfing, and passionately rooting for his favorite college football team, the Florida Gators.

Jonathan Culwell, Benefits Advisor, joins Renewal with an impressive professional background, having worked as an attorney and healthcare executive.

This diverse experience provides him with a frontline vantage point of the inner workings of healthcare benefits. Culwell brings a wealth of knowledge and a fresh perspective to our team that will enrich our consulting practice. Culwell chose to join Renewal after discovering a shared set of core values and a culture that placed emphasis on strong relationships and providing the best outcome for our clients.
